Hello! I’m Kristin Adams.
I am an innovative, creative thinker and a natural product visionary with over 15 years of experience developing, launching, building and running a successful, multi-million dollar international beauty brand in the emerging niche market of natural cosmetics.
I founded a natural cosmetics brand and created a 175+ product line (SKUs) color cosmetics with a focus on natural and organic ingredients. The line was internationally distributed online and in dermatologists’ offices, upscale salons, spas, perfumeries, and eco-boutiques.
The brand developed a reputation for creating and delivering products on the leading edge of what was possible for natural cosmetic formulations for the highly sensitive, allergy-prone consumer. It enjoyed many profitable years as a recognized leader in the once disruptive natural cosmetics niche that has since gone mainstream.
The line has been featured in famous wellness and beauty books such as Gorgeously Green and countless magazines such as Huffington Post, EcoParent, New Beauty, Body + Soul, Vegetarian Times, and Martha Stewart Magazine.
I deeply believe that entrepreneurs can change the world for the better.
I’ve always considered the end products I develop to be more than “a cosmetic.” For me, each of the natural cosmetic products I develop holds the potential for the start of a conversation about a larger topic of awareness, conscious consumerism and sustainability.
Especially during the early years of my brand, the idea that what you put on your body could have health implications and may be connected to a larger conversation about global health, ethical responsibility and sustainability was revolutionary and disruptive.
That product and conversation had the potential to shift an entire consumer demographic and industry… and it eventually did.
Now, I regularly consult for business leaders and private equity firms on areas including market evaluation and industry trends.
I also spearhead innovation projects and collaborate on product development from the initial formulation and launch, marketing and branding and contract manufacturer selection.
I work one-on-one with incredible entrepreneurs as a beauty business development consultant and coach to elevate their branding and marketing strategy, and develop innovative, disruptive wellness and beauty products.
As a professional, paid speaker, I speak to beauty entrepreneurs about launching and building their cosmetic brands. I also regularly speak at industry conferences with the executive teams of the most well known cosmetic brands about the natural cosmetic market and novel cosmetic ingredients and regulations.
I am grateful for all the struggle and opportunities I have experienced thus far. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to share it with my clients now. That’s why I created my first online course, ‘How to Launch Your Beauty Brand’.
